This is one of those storytelling wines from the House of Pelham - it's also a wine that seems to get oakier every year. Here we start off with a buttery sensation, then in steps some apple caramel and butterscotch which leads to a finish that has some tangerine rind. This Chardonnay lacks fruit, so long time readers will know where I stand on this one; but for those who like their Chardonnay of the oaky persuasion. (*** ½)
