The nose on this unoaked version of Chardonnay is fairly closed though it does offer up a little mineral and peach. The flavour seems a little more woken up with an apple core that's wrapped with mineral and pear. There is a subtle creaminess to the wine, probably due to the partial malolactic fermentation the wine went through, giving it an almost cream cheese like finish. Price: $14.95 - Rating: *** 1/2
