When I first tasted this wine it had just been disgorged and was hard to really get a real handle on what it tasted like (it needed some mellowing time) ... Now with a year in bottle this bubbly has blossomed. It has developed talc, apple, lemon and brioche notes with a lovely toasty-biscuity finish. Nice first efforts from Weir - now will he ever again have occasion to use it? (with his golf game i mean). Price: $24.95 - Rating: *** 1/2
