Thank goodness for unoaked Chardonnay. This Trius version is better than last year's, delivering apple, vanilla, pear and melon on the nose; while on the palate there’s white fruit and melon fun; there’s also a touch of grassiness with lemon-like acidity and a hint of vanilla. Great value and a wonderful sipper with or without food. Price: $14.25 – Rating: ****½
