The bottle says “red fruit” but I picked up plenty of dark fruit aromas like plums, along with some cocoa, anise, and vanilla. On the palate, it’s light and fruity, suggesting the Chilean influence, with a slight tannic bite at the end. Vanilla, anise and some eucalyptus round out the flavours in the mouth. Quite a nice quaffing wine from Vineland – making something decent from a weak year.
