All estate, mostly north block goes into this wine (planted: 2001) – that would be the oldest Pinot block. Aged in 60% new oak for 16 months: earthy and sour cherry typicity but also black currant, white pepper and mineral find their way through as well – and the finish is back-loaded with a welcome spicy note.
