A single vineyard Syrah aged 21 months in mainly used barrels … and limited to just 300 cases. It’s the 100% Syrah version from the Creek and it delivers on that meaty, smoky, peppery promise that good Syrah offers up – plus there’s lots of dark fruit, cocoa and wowing tannins that grab the tongue and won’t let go. This one is tight and needs time to come into its own – even a decanter and a big glass won’t help for the first few years, so just have patience, it’ll reward in spaded in about 7-10 years; I also think you’ll be enjoying this one well into the early 2030s if you have the time to spare.
