16-18 months in barrel with 30% new wood and a blend of 50% Neudorf vineyard and Mountainview vineyard (aka: estate) – the Neudorf offers up the floral aspect to this wine with its delicacy, after all it used to be called Petite Colline in its Le Clos Jordanne days. There’s also a smoky-toasty aspect to this wine with some spiced black cherry – it’s light, pleasant and well-balanced with a neat spicy finish.
