No specification as to age of vines, but this gorgeous wine that shows a very modern side of Spanish wine is soft, silky and juicy with a mocha/chocolate core plus intense and concentrated notes of cherry, strawberry and raspberry; it may be sweet fruited (due to new barrels and American oak) but that all gets balanced out by the acidity.  Rating: ****
