The best Cabernet Franc (50%) and Merlot (40%) went into this one with only 10% Cabernet Sauvignon (for the most part the Sauvignon went into its own bottling) and there are only 200 cases made. Smooth, supple, silky and elegant could all be used to describe this wine with its dark fruit, dominated by black cherry along with vanilla and a saline / minerality, but at its core it’s all fruit with an easy spice, some tobacco, plus a cherry and blueberry finish; good to lie some down for 5-7 years.
