Big Head’s newest incarnation of an idea for “natural” wine is called “RAW” – whole cluster, concrete ferments and bottled unfiltered – “pure wine” as Andrzej Lipinski calls it.  There’s an apple characteristic here that’s typical, but also a spicy note that’s not – making this an interesting Pinot Gris in the glass.  Price: $35.00 – Rating: *** ½
