Love it when more Ontario wineries forge out to make more Gamay, and good Gamay at that; this Adamo wine is made from Niagara fruit – it spends 18 months in 30% new French oak and yet comes across refreshingly tasty and fruit driven: cherry and strawberry take the lead with hints of smoke and white pepper adding to the back-end – it’s all made in a very subtle and sexy way (can you say that about wine?) – this one punches well above its weight class.
