Another good job with Cabernet Franc by Vincenzo De Simone on this barrel aged (for 12 months) in all new 100% French oak, then there is the 4 months of bottle aging so that the shock has worn off and the wine is fully settled and ready for drinking – granted it still needs some time to allow the wood notes to settle, but there are also cigar box, black cherry and a smoky note to the finish.
