A single barrel Chardonnay that saw some action in both oak and stainless steel. First, wild yeast had it's way with it, then third year old oak had a turn, for 8 months; finally, the cat ends up in stainless for another 8 months with some extended lees contact ... the result is a rich and lively wine with creamy and buttery notes, apple fruit and a vanilla finish.  Price: $64.95 - Rating: ****+
