La Crema 2019 Monterey Pinot Noir

I'm a big fan of Monterey wines, probably because I visited the area many years ago to see the Monterey Jazz Festival. While in Monterey the winemakers and winery principals kept stressing the cool climate aspect of their region - as if I don't know what cool climate means, being from Ontario. This wine has great acidity and pretty sour cherry. It's juicy, the fruit is ripe and red with a hint of blackberry plus great length to the finish; there's even some floral/violet notes that appear on the sniffer. Nice to also see La Crema has gone easier access to this juiciness with a screw-cap on this.  (****)
