If you’ve tried the new Locked & Loaded from Rosewood you’ll know it’s a powerhouse wine that needs time – but its big brother Lock, Stock & Barrel is more approachable now … I guess with age comes maturity (big Brother reference). A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (28%) and Merlot (48%) with dollops of Cabernet Franc (13%), Petit Verdot (5%) and Malbec (6%) and aged 35% in new oak. A palate and olfactory pleasing anise, raspberry and white pepper dominant wine that’s surprisingly approachable now.  Price: $34.95 – Rating: ****
