This is the base model Cabernet blend from the arrow-toting winery. A blend of 2/3 Cabernet Franc and 1/2 Cabernet Sauvignon aged 10 months in older French barrels ... the nose screams raspberry with smoke, spice and floral notes backing it up. The palate will be having you thinking berries: raspberry, strawberry, cranberry cocktail and gentle spices. This is not a wine for extended cellaring, so do not pass Go, do not collect 200 bottles, but three or four years should do the trick and it's a great little wine to sip away at on one of those cool evenings by the fire.
