This is a bubbly built for the cellar … the nose is rather tight with apple and pear notes but not much else to speak of, the biscuit and yeasty notes are hanging out in the background as if waiting to pounce on your olfactories later on in its evolution. The finish is dry and cider-esque with good acid balance (based on the high acid year of 2009), there’s some real cellar potential here if you have the patience to wait it should reward a few years on its side.
