This is the Rosehall blended-batch of Pinot Noir, which means the grapes come from all over the county to show ‘County Terroir’ instead of the more de-rigueur single vineyard. The nose is cranberry and sour cherry with and underlying sweet spice … these aromas follow as flavours on to the palate, adding smoke and vanilla notes with those sweet spices carrying from beginning to end, there’s also a hint of white pepper on the finish.
