Sprucewood Shores 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon
Not sure where else you’re gonna find a domestic, fruit forward Cabernet Sauvignon this juicy and delicious for this price (which is one of the reasons it’s so attractive). Black cherry is the dominant fruit followed by sweet oak, vanilla and black pepper. The wine was aged 15 months in 1-3 year old barrels of Hungarian and French origin … there is also just a dollop (6%) of Cabernet Franc added. Price: $14.15 – Rating: ****
