As the 2010 reds begin to hit shelves you’re gonna be seeing some very interesting and well-priced wines that’ll make you look like a genius for buying them. Perfect example is this 75% Cabernet Sauvignon dominated blend (10% Cabernet Franc and 15% Merlot) from Vineland. The nose has blackberry, black cherry and a hint of vanilla; the palate is smoky black fruit with nice peppery notes and a good tannin backbone … the finish lingers with black cherry and cocoa. Lay down for 5+ years if you like, but this one is ready to go right now. This wine proved to be so popular that it sold out before I could post my review. Price: $15.00 – Rating: **** ½
