Vineland’s value Cabernet-Merlot is one of the great bargains of Ontario wine year-in and year-out. 2011 is gonna be one of those forgotten years because it comes between two great years 2010 and 2012, but this ’11 should be given it’s props. Black cherry, cedar-vanilla and raspberry are all smells you’ll pick out; while red fruit, hints of cedar and oaked-raspberry will be the flavours – all ending with a touch of vanilla on the finish.
