Henry of Pelham 2010 Gamay
For a 2010 this is a light and lean fighting machine of a Gamay, where you would have thought the hot vintage would turn this into nothing more than an aggrandized Merlot; probably due to the stainless steel ageing, by foregoing the use of oak that might intrude on its delicacy. Gentle cherry fruit with a cranberry backing really makes this a light fare favourite or just for sipping on slightly chilled. Price: $14.95 - Rating: *** 1/2
