I'm not gonna lie to you folks, Sauvignon Blanc in barrel is not always my favourite bi-product; but Lailey seems to have something going here. Last year I was blown away by how good it was and this year they have managed a similar feat. The nose is pineapple with the merest hint of grass and some grapefruit cocktail ... palate shows off sweet grass, grapefruit and other citrus tones along with a creaminess across the palate that seems to play off the acidity quite nicely.
