Rosehall Run 2011 'Liberated' - Chardonnay
Once you get over the fluff of being liberated you'll find this is a very decent Chardonnay - more then decent actually. A nose of vanilla and apple leads to a palate that's smooth and creamy with nice vanilla character amidst some delightful fruit notes of pear and peach - more pit on the finish than fresh, but there's enough umph here to be good for a glass or two ... or even three. Price: $15.95 - Rating: *** 1/2+
