Flat Rock Cellars 2010 Gravity Pinot Noir
Seems that in the hotter vintages like 2005, 2007 and now 2010 that I'm drawn to the base-model of the Flat Rock Pinots, probably because of all that fruit. The Gravity in the leaner years is a favourite, this year it's good but not the best ever produced, it has all the prerequisites of the grape: cranberry, raspberry, smoky-peppery notes and good acidity with nice spice on the finish. Give it a couple of years while your quaffing on the regular Flat Rock Pinot to allow this one to come into its own. Price: $29.95 - Rating: *** 1/2+
