It always seems that in the hot vintages, like 2007, Flat Rock's base-model Pinot benefits. The 2010 (another hot vintage) Pinot starts off with a delicate subtle nose of earth and strawberry with an intensity of flavour on the palate: red cherry, cranberry, white pepper and a touch of other barrel derived spices.
