Le Clos Jordanne 2009 Le Clos Jordanne Vineyard Pinot Noir
This, to me, is a marked increase in quality from both the 2007 and 2008 vintages of these wines. It seems Le Clos lost some of their mojo, but I think with this one they might be back on track. Smoky cherry, black pepper, raspberry all seem to come out on the nose and palate ... then there's a pleasant linger to the finish that seems to develop along the earthy strawberry lines. Price: $45.00 - Rating: *** 1/2+
