The 2010 vintage of this wine was a real beauty, so I’m not surprised the next hot vintage version follows the same path. Made from all estate fruit aged 18 months in a mix of French and American oak (20% new) … specially selected barrels are then chosen and 200 cases are finally produced. A yummy mocha entry with blackberry, wood smoke, raspberry, cassis and good tannin bite on the finish. Price: $29.95 – Rating: ****
