Some could criticize Dan Sullivan for spreading himself too thin with so many different skus of wine – but then he nails this 2013 Chardonnay and all is forgiven. A plethora of aromas and flavours that both coax and allure one into a multi-sip inducing “how can this be so good”: spiced-vanilla, apple cobbler, peach pit, melon rind, mineral notes, long finish, great complexity and it’s just very pretty indeed … and the only PEC wine to pick up an award at the World Chardonnay competition (Chardonnay-du-Monde) held in Burgundy, France (Silver) – an award well deserved. Price: $29.95 – Rating: **** ½
