When someone you trust says “this is my wife’s go to wine” you take note. Now, I’m not a huge fan of unoaked Chardonnay, but there are a few really good ones made in this province, including this one; it’s simple with apple and pear with a hint of peach – so plenty of fruit – but also lovely cleansing acidity as well.
