A real blend of diverse reds starting with Merlot at 40% then Syrah (35%), Cabernet Franc (15%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) and Baco Noir (5%) … and it over delivers for the price: red and black berry fruit, cocoa, black cherry and with a hint of mocha to keep things even more interesting … believe it or not, according to one of the Speck Bros the Baco acts as a school-marm by having a “calming effect” on the others … combine all that with the nicely spiced finish and this might be the best Family Tree Red to date.
