I’m happy (and sad) to report that this wine has sold out (or nearly sold out - 10 cases left); it is also one of the better Rosé’s so far this year that I have tasted. Made by Kacaba’s assistant winemaker Vadim Chelekhov with backing from some other “investors”, including my podcast partner Andre Proulx. I tried this wine a few times to make sure I wasn’t just excited about rosé season, or giving my Podcast Partner a pass … it even passed the “wife test” so I knew it wasn’t just me: floral, peach and lime nose that follows onto the palate adding grapefruit and raspberry notes to the dry but very refreshing finish.
