Another ripper red from the 2016 vintage from the Trius team … this wine saw a mere 8 months in mainly French oak (with a hint of American): spicy-blueberry and cassis starts things off aroma-wise; on the palate it’s soft and juicy with white pepper, blueberry and cherry all culminating in a white pepper finish – it’ll soften give a few years in bottle, then it’s just gonna pop with fruit.
