It’s a corner-turn year for Lacey and winemaker / co-owner Kimball as he comes home to the winery full-time to make his Chardonnays stand apart from his previous employer, Closson Chase. All estate / county fruit, barrel fermented and aged 12 months in French oak; buttery and vanilla notes kick things off adding apple and peach fruit to the palate that’s gentle and smooth; the seemingly medium length finish repeats itself, seconds after the swallow, and turns medium into long and luxurious … and that’s where the “infinity” name came from; so I am in complete agreement with that. Welcome home Kimball, and great job.
