If I were making wine and wanted Cabernet Sauvignon from Niagara, my money would invest in some Lowrey fruit (planted: 1998-1999) what Wes Lowrey is doing is incredible, and it shows in his own offering: black cherry, cassis, cinnamon spice with big tannins for backbone – it’s heavy, spicy and smoky yet still has enough fruit to show elegance.
