For those of you positive you don’t like Pinot Noir I offer up exhibit A for why you should at least give it a try (again). This hot vintage Pinot is full of rich, round fruit but also the acidity to keep it food friendly and light: black cherry, mocha and smoky notes kick things off; the mid-palate shows a delightful sorta-sweet juiciness that will win many over; the finish is backed by cran-cherry but always with that rich fruit core. Is it typical or traditional Pinot, maybe not, but it’s totally delicious.
