Domaine Queylus 2015 Pinot Noir, Le Grand Reserve

This nine barrel, 57 case production is primarily Neudorf fruit, formerly Petite Colline in its Le Clos Jordanne days, back then it was known for being a very pretty, floral and delicate wine; but now add in some estate fruit and you have a wine that its partly pretty and partly ballsy … it’s rich and vibrant with smoky, black cherry, blackberry, good minerality and tannins that don’t overwhelm but are certainly present.
