Domaine Queylus 2015 Pinot Noir Tradition

It’s the typical Bachelder formula for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir: 18 months in French oak barrels (25% new), all wild ferment but this one is taken from a mix of Queylus estate and Neudorf vineyards – Neudorf is the old La Petite Colline from Thomas’ Le Clos days … the resulting wine is textbook Bachelder-style Pinot Noir with lots of fruit: rich plum and cherry plus all-spice, earth, mineral, floral and white pepper adding to the depth and complexity … it’s certainly aromatic but also very delicious.
