The “Fifty” undergoes barrel fermentation for about 2-6 weeks then is aged in stainless steel tanks and on lees, it also goes through 100% malolactic fermentation to smooth out those edges and give it a little creaminess, the result is a wine full of vanilla, gentle spice, peach, lemon and a hint of praline-almonds … a Chardonnay worth experiencing for not a lot of dough – so buy a few to get you through the winter.
