Big Mouth Merlot has a certain elegance this year that has been sorely missing in the past. 50/50 estate / brought it grapes with sweet juicy blue and black fruit at its core, but there’s also some mocha and spice that helps to keep the sweet and juicy in check; add in spiced-vanilla notes on the finish and this wine will have you singing the praises of Merlot (again).
