A red blend from the 2016 vintage made from: mainly Syrah and Pinot Noir with some Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The name is derived from the Latin meaning ‘balance in all things’ … Nice fresh red fruit, good acidity with hints of anise and spice … there’s even a little cranberry, sour cherry and a hint of blue fruit on the finish – surprisingly 12.5% alcohol, unexpectedly low for such a hot vintage.
