This is the first ever iteration of this all estate grown 100% Cabernet Franc rosé that has a light salmon-y colour, usually associated with Pinot Noir, or even Provencal style rosés.  Then the unthinkable, 50% goes into neutral oak after 12 hours of skin contact; but there’s a pretty strawberry, lemon-lime note that hangs around and great acid punch that livens everything up even more so maybe the barrel wasn’t a bad idea after all.  Price: $22.95 – Rating: ****
