A blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvingon. 40% Cabernet Franc and 17% Merlot aged 12 months in a 50/50 blend of American and French oak with 30% of that oak being new. The wine is round, rich and intense, partly due to that high percentage of American oak with lots of vanilla, cocoa and mocha notes surrounding black currant and black cherry fruit with a hint of tobacco on the finish.  Price: $24.95 - Rating: ****
