This is the wine that makes the most sense for Coffin Ridge "Back from the Dead" - where they try to brings grapes like Baco and Marechal Foch back from the brink of bad noteriety by adding in a little Cabernet and Merlot, the 2016 seems to be a little more fruit forward with its blueberry seam but also has some lovely mocha, licorice and smoke to back it up.  Price: $19.95 - Rating: *** ½+
