Surprisingly this wine is heavy on Cabernet Sauvignon (43%) with Cabernet Franc (40%) and Merlot being a mere 17% ... surprising because this is one of those vintages that seemed like it would not produce ripe Sauvignon; but the "miralce vintage" of 2017 has produced wines that are juicy and fresh with great acid and ripe fruit: earthy and smoky backed by blackberry and cassis with hints of vanilla and cinnamon - there's also more to come with a few more years in bottle.  Price: $24.95 - Rating: ****
