Henry of Pelham 2019 Gamay Estate

Could Henry of Pelham make more money turning Gamay into rosé? Absolutely, but thankfully they don't. It spends 10 months in a mix of American and French oak and has developed huge notes of cherry-raspberry and blueberry on both the nose and palate. It's juicy, but balanced by its acidity - wonderfully sippable and ready for summer 2021 on the patio with just a little chill (if necessary). There's even a little pepper for added enjoyment. Call it chuggable, quaffable or even sessionable - but whatever you refer to drinking it as you need this Gamay in your life.  Price: $19.95 – Rating: ****+
