Nice deep color in the glass leading to a nice spice and freshness on the finish, which is derived from the acid backbone ... But it's the good fruit character that impresses, namely black cherry and spiced-cranberry that causes this one to sing on the palate; bring in the usual spicy-earthiness and that killer acidity and it's a delightful bottle of Ontario Pinot that could sit in the cellar a decade, but can also be enjoyed right now.
