This single vineyard, unfiltered wine has been made before – it was really good then and so they’ve done it again. Nose is typically Pinot, but the palate is where this wine shines the most: rich texture with smoky, cranberry, raspberry and black cherry fruit leading the charge. In slips earthy, subtle mocha, nice unobtrusive tannins and a bit of violet for good measure ... plus the acidity here is on-point.  Price: $55.00 - Rating: ****+
