A four vineyard, Niagara Peninsula-based wine with 20% new oak and 80% neutral aged for 16 months. The wine is quite earthy right off the hop, which is pretty telltale for Pinot Noir: sour and black cherry join the fray along with notes of cranberry. There's a lovely long finish that pushes some mineral chalkiness - it's really quite a pleasant Pinot. Price $32.00 – Rating: ****
